Learning Vocabulary:

Using Vocab Words - In my mind there are two highly effective ways to learn and remember vocabulary. Using the words in speech and writing is the best way to create the neural connections for your memory.

Mnemonic Devices - The second way to remember vocab (or anything for that matter) is to create a memory-association. Mnemonic devices, where you rhyme your vocab word or associate the word with something similar, are used by any students (med students, law students, etc) who need to memorize large amounts of information.
